Burrows Road

The property was originally two flats. The first stage was to reinstate it as a single dwelling. As a single dwelling we were able to apply for a Certificate of Lawfulness to develop the roof space where we added a full width dormer on the rear and fitted the space out with a bedroom and bathroom.

At ground floor level we created a dining area as an extension to the existing kitchen. We projected the side of the extension beyond the flank wall as a frameless glass bay window which both increased the width of the space and ensured we maximised the natural light coming back into the kitchen.

The rest of the house was totally refurbished to create a contemporary family home within a Victorian terrace.
